Coaching Background:
My name is Brian Wardlaw and I have been a coach with the club since 2017.  I have coached a variety of age groups during that time and currently serve as the Executive Director of the BVB IA Seattle.  In addition to coaching at this club, I also was the head coach at Ballard High School boys program for 7 years and served a few years of that as the JV girls coach as well.  I had the opportunity to spend about 10 years of my life as a child running around the soccer fields of southern Africa in a little country called Eswatini (formerly Swaziland).  I was never coached, never played on grass and never played a certified game till I was almost 13 years old and yet I played every day.  This upbringing gave me and my brothers a deep love for the game and we all played through college and are all involved in the youth game at different levels.  I also raised my two boys in this club and it has been a great experience for both of them.


Coach Heron "Sheriff" Grey has an impressive resume and has lent his experience to players across Shoreline and Seattle.
